What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)?

GEO is the optimization of content so that LLMs preferentially cite and recommend it in their answers. While SEO optimizes for Google rankings, GEO optimizes for being mentioned in AI answers — using structured data, FAQ schemas, entity optimization and citation-ready passages.

How is AI Visibility measured?
